20”x24” acrylic on canvas painting I finished over the course of several days in February 2026. Inspired by the classic LEGO Space theme Futuron, this little astronaut painting is made to be a direct follow-up to my previous painting of a similar red spaceman of the same series. Unlike the red spaceman, during the 1980s the blue minifigures were actually very common in appeared in a lot of the Space LEGO sets, so I had a lot of these little guys.

This one has a pink glow added around it, which was a last minute addition. I added the pink glow to help separate the spaceman from the swirled background, since the blue color kind of blended in too much.
