“We’ve got music in our solar system, we’re space truckin’ round the stars!”

For an Instagram contest involving cars, I dug out my Astrosurfer Space Car from early 2016 and took an updated photo of it in front of my Moth Nebula matte painting.

This is a composite image of two photos: the car, satellite, and spacewalker are attached to sticks. After shooting the desired shot, I removed the set — but kept the painting and lights in the same spot — and shot a photo of just the background. I merged both pictures later in post, and added the glowing headlights.
