To be honest, I don’t think that’s the exact amount. I actually lost count at some point.
I came up with the idea for this video when I was on the train ride home from work and feeling hungry, and joked to myself that I could eat 2,000 chicken nuggets. Whilst I had that thought, I stumbled upon a funny reference to Shrek on Reddit on my phone, so my brain combined both and came up with the concept for this video. After animating and editing the footage, the major obstacle that delayed its release was trying to use music for the end when Shrek sings. I created a digital version of the song “Back Door Man” in FL Studio, and recorded myself singing. Shortly after this video was released, it was shadowbanned on Google search and YouTube search for a few weeks, which caused me to panic and write a video essay about the sad state of the internet.
