This is the layout for the DVD/Blu-Ray artwork for the Reel Splatter Productions horror/Christmas film “I’m Dreaming of a White Doomsday.” I compiled this design in Photoshop using image stills from the movie, as well as the film’s poster illustration design from Sadist Art. Below are the photos of the actual discs, which I photographed myself:

SPOILERS BELOW:

The DVD/Blu-Ray discs contain photography and artwork by me: I created the cookies by spreading white frosting on chocolate chip cookies from a 7-Eleven in Queens, and sprinkling them with crushed green rock candy. I then placed the cookies on a white background and shot the photos with a macro lens. The climax of the film involves the protagonist poisoning her son by sprinkling weed killer on cookies; in the movie, the cookie props were made using chocolate chip cookies, white frosting, and green rock candy in the same manner as my disc artwork. I’d also like to point out that the prop label for the weed killer bottle was also designed by me, and its graphics and brand name were based on inside jokes from my youth!

All cookies were eventually eaten by me: no food was wasted.
