The cast of my forthcoming LEGO Alice in Wonderland video rocking out! Although the obvious choice would be to say they’re performing a certain Jefferson Airplane song, I decided to have them do a fictional cover of “Rainbow in the Dark” by Dio! To achieve the above shot, I used a wide angle lens and had two different multicolor party spotlights pointing towards the scene and the background. I took multiple shots with various exposure settings, and some with fill light from a reflector disc.

The shot below was taken earlier in the set, with less of the party lights and more of the white softbox lighting.
