A quick Halloween LEGO project I built: a hollow jack-o-lantern with a flickering LED inside to make it glow!

Using a unique construction technique with modified hinge plates, I was able to achieve the round SNOT (studs not on top) structure of the pumpkin. Inside the hollow pumpkin is a battery operated flickering light to give it life; I picked this up from an arts and crafts store. It sure is less messy than carving a pumpkin.

My only real design flaw is that the face is flat compared to the ribbed sides, but this was the only way to make an accurate pumpkin face.

I built a similar project like this a few years ago and used a crude circuit of batteries and LEDs to achieve the glow. This is basically a larger, more advanced version that.
