Using the same exact technology and design principles of my LEGO Electronic Super Mario Starmen, I’ve built a new set of mosaic noisemakers, based on the iconic Super Mario mushrooms. The three green models play the 1-up sound effect, two of the red models play a segment of the Overworld theme from Super Mario World, and the third red model plays the airship victory song from Super Mario Bros. 3. Just like the Starmen, I’ve received some negative feedback over the musical pitch of the audio from each model, yet I went on to sell all of these at A Video Game Con in 2015.
