Happy Brunktöberfest!

This was a quick LEGO vignette I shot right before my 40th birthday, which was October 27. That’s right, Baron von Brunk is officially 40 years old.

This was a last minute creation. I made the giant numbers four and zero with grey and blue for Classic Space colors, and added the greebling to make them a bit more futuristic. Then I placed on top of them some original Space minifigures with drinks; you’ll notice the blue ones wear the incorrect helmets, since I don’t have any originals in blue. Then I shot the photo on top of a piece of black plexiglass in front of a black background.

For my birthday weekend I drove back to my hometown of Lancaster, PA to visit some friends. I went to a Halloween bonfire party then had a hibachi dinner on the 27th. I also visited some flea markets and picked up a lot of vintage LEGO sets still in their original packages.
