Around Christmas 2021 I traveled to my home state of Pennsylvania to take photos of the veterans’ cemetery and military base museum in Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. My maternal grandfather was an Army cook in the Pacific theater in WW2, and he’s buried in the veterans’ cemetery. Back in the 1980s my father was stationed at the Army base when he was a combat medic for the Pennsylvania 28th Infantry Division, and also later in the ’90s I would spend time in the nearby forest for a Boy Scout camping trip. Therefore, I definitely have a connection to this location.
