I built some sprite background objects and experimented with photographing a vignette with my then-recently-purchased 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. The two Super Mari0 Bros. 3 mini ships are of course from the Fireflower Airship. This was also a test with multicolored backdrops, as in the past with my old digital camera I was limited to stark white backgrounds for optimal lighting.

This particular vignette was then updated in early 2015 with a new prime lens and a handmade painted backdrop.
