I’m the Lord of the Harvest!
This was taken one very late night at a graveyard adjacent to Landis Valley Museum in Manheim Township, PA. I placed the figures on the grass, snapped an extremely slow shutter speed (of almost one minute), and while the shutter was open, I dangled a small flashlight towards the figures to create more light. That glowing orb in the sky was not the moon; it’s actually just a star, I think.
After the nighttime shot for the first take, the next afternoon I drove to a graveyard adjacent to a Mennonite church in Manheim, PA and snapped this photo:
I actually intended specifically to frame the shot with the sunset, but alas the sun was obstructed by some wires and the church – and by the time I snapped a successful shot, the sun was already setting past the horizon.
