“In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.”

Today marks the 100-year anniversary of the armistice signed to cease the “War to End All Wars” — The Great War — 1914-1918. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marked the end of the then-deadliest conflict in modern human history. For all veterans of the past and present, you have not been forgotten.
