As mentioned with my Christmas Nutcracker photos, I lack a Christmas tree in my small attic apartment — therefore, I chose to do some guerilla photography in public places.

These shots were taken in the lounge/lobby of an upscale Midtown Manhattan hotel on 37th street. The place was really elegant inside, and even had a fireplace in the common era. I lugged this LEGO head sculpture around the city for almost an hour while trying to find a great spot to take the photo. Some of the hotels had good Christmas tree setups, but lacked any decent vantage points for getting the shot.
